In 1997 the American Railway Bridge and Building Association (ARB&B), the American Railway Engineering Association (AREA) and the Roadmaster’s and Maintenance of Way Association (RMWA) merged to form AREMA. With each of these groups having more than 100 years of experience, AREMA stands on a solid rail industry foundation.
Vancer is proud to be a part of AREMA’s annual conference & exposition. As the premiere event for railway engineering professionals, the conference provides an excellent opportunity for members of the railway industry to increase their railroad knowledge, technical expertise, network and a forum for exchanging ideas.
Headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a second location in Galesburg, Illinois, Vancer engineers customized rail maintenance-of-way (MOW) solutions for the railroad industry. With decades of rail industry experience, the Vancer team also supports clients with shop and field service as well as extensive parts availability.
“Our product innovations make a difference in track maintenance,” said Jared Reinoehl, Assistant Vice President of Vancer. “Our team works with our customers to understand the challenges they’re facing – which can include shorter windows for track maintenance and accessing remote track lines.”
To maintain track lines in every kind of environment and weather, railroads need dependable equipment and service. Vancer prides themselves on being there for customers when they need the equipment, service and support to get their work done. “We’re invested in providing dedicated field support. When it’s needed, we’ll be there quickly to make sure rail traffic can keep moving,” said Reinoehl.
Vancer provides rail clients with custom engineering solutions, on- and off-track machines that provide multiple tool functionality, hi-rail equipment, shop and field service, on-site training, and a dedication to do whatever it takes to keep rail lines safe.
According to Reinoehl, “The rail market will continue to change. Vancer is committed to providing our customers with exceptional services and products to help them keep things moving efficiently and safely.”
The 2018 AREMA Conference & Exposition will be held in Chicago, Illinois, from September 16 – 19. Vancer will be located at booth 119.
